This challenge combines 6 cable cars and 5 mountains. The result is a truly XXL route that is a real treat for experienced bikers. Of course, the individual cable cars can also be used for the ascent. There is a special Big 5 ticket for this tour, which includes one ride on each cable car. The starting point is the ride to the Kohlmais summit – the Wurzel Trail takes you towards Leogang, offering wonderful panoramic views of the Leogang Mountains. The Big 5 Challenge also takes you along the Hacklberg Trail with speed passages and small jumps. The last stage of the challenge takes you to the Reiterkogel. The X-Line on Schattberg is not long, but tricky. The single trail leads over numerous roots, rocky ground, and meadow passages. Technical skill is required here! Experienced bikers, downhill enthusiasts, and real pros will get their money’s worth here. The beginning of the trail is fairly smooth and offers a beautiful panoramic view. In the middle section, you’ll be less focused on the surroundings and more on the roots, beautiful berms, and Northshore elements. In the last section, you can choose to reach the finish either via a technically demanding root passage or a slopestyle run.

The Learn to Ride Park is not a trail in the traditional sense – the park offers routes and mini trails for beginners of all ages. It’s best to take your first attempts at riding on the circuit – after that, there are several mini versions of the trails where you can gain biking experience in a safe environment. After that, if you want, you can venture onto the first “real” trails. The Panorama and Monti trails start at the middle station and mountain station on Kohlmais. By the way: Use of the park and the conveyor belt is free of charge!
