1. When can we check in at the Hotel Austria in Saalbach?
Your room will be available from 3:00 p.m., and check-out is possible until 10:00 a.m.
2. Are the JOKER CARD and the GUEST MOBILITY TICKET included at the Hotel Austria?
Yes, as a guest at our hotel, the JOKER CARD and the GUEST MOBILITY TICKET are included in the room rate for your summer vacation. You enjoy great benefits such as free use of mountain railways, admission to the outdoor pool, use of trains and buses throughout Salzburg, and much more!
3. Are dogs allowed at Hotel Austria?
No, unfortunately you have to leave your beloved pets at home.
4. What meals are offered at the Hotel Austria in Salzburger Land?
In winter, we spoil you with a rich breakfast buffet. Half board can be booked directly through us (info@hotelaustria.at) upon request.
In summer, you can enjoy half board PLUS – including cake and coffee in the afternoon and drinks (Coke, Fanta, Sprite, house beer, and house white/red wine) with dinner in the restaurant.
5. Where is the Hotel Austria?
The Hotel Austria is located between Saalbach and Hinterglemm in the beautiful Salzburg region.

7. What are the cancellation policies at Hotel Austria?
Unless otherwise agreed with us, the general cancellation conditions of the Flexi Booking program apply.
If the following travel restrictions related to COVID-19 come into effect at the planned time of travel, we will of course not charge any cancellation fees:
- Guests are not permitted to travel/enter
- Our accommodation is not permitted to accommodate guests
8. Is there a wellness area at the Hotel Austria?
Yes, you can enjoy a stress-free time in our wellness area. After an active day, you can visit the sauna or steam bath, or relax by the outdoor pool in summer.
9. Is there parking at the Hotel Austria in Saalbach?
Yes, you can arrive by car and find a parking space with us. Here you’ll find detailed directions for the ideal start to your vacation.
10. Where can I take out travel cancellation insurance?

11. Can we store our bicycles/mountain bikes?
Yes, there’s access to the ski cellar behind the house. You only have to climb five steps and enter with your room card. There are also power outlets for e-bikes.
12. Do you have an electric car charging station at the hotel?
Yes, there is an electric charging station next to the hotel.
Please note: The vehicle should only be plugged in while charging. Leaving it plugged in after it is fully charged may incur additional charges.
13. How far is it to the center of Saalbach or Hinterglemm?
We are located right between the two towns.
It’s about a 20-minute walk to Saalbach and a 15-minute walk to Hinterglemm.
By car or bike, you can reach both centers in just a few minutes.
14. Is there a slope leading to the hotel?
Yes and no – the Mitteregg lift is directly opposite the hotel. This provides easy access to the ski area, and the descent brings you almost right back to the hotel.

15. If I book half board in winter, will I also have coffee and cake in the afternoon and free drinks with dinner?
NO, this exclusive offer is part of our half board PLUS in summer.
