A relaxing holiday at the Hotel Austria
The spacious wellness area at the 4* Hotel Austria in Saalbach invites you to relax and unwind. The soft colors and tasteful furnishings create a deeply relaxing atmosphere. The comfortable loungers, warm tones, fine woods, and beautiful natural materials allow your body to rest and your mind and soul to unwind.
Our heated outdoor pool offers the opportunity to cool off and relax in the water in both summer and winter. Thanks to the movable roof, we can also offer our pool as an indoor pool in the garden in bad weather.
Bathrobes and pool towels can be rented at the front desk for a rental fee of €10 and a deposit of €10. The deposit will, of course, be refunded to you when you return the items.

Opening hours of the wellness area and pool
Our spa area features a sauna, a steam room, two infrared cabins and two relaxation rooms.
WINTER Opening Hours:
Daily from 1.00 pm to 8.00 pm
Open daily
SUMMER Opening Hours:
On hot summer days, our wellness area is often not used. To avoid unnecessary energy consumption, we are happy to open the wellness area upon request from 1:00 PM.
In case of bad weather, the wellness area is automatically open for you daily from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
Outdoor Pool:
Open daily from 07:30 am to 08:00 pm
In the summer, the outdoor pool is covered in case of bad weather.
In winter, our outdoor pool is covered. When the weather is fine in March, the roof can be opened.
Sauna and pool towels & bathrobes
Sauna towels are available for you to use directly in the wellness area. After use, please place only the sauna towels provided in the basket provided for this purpose.
You can hire pool towels and bathrobes from reception under the following conditions:
Pool towels: One-off hire fee of €10 + €10 deposit = €20 per towel
Bathrobes: €20 deposit per bathrobe
The deposit will be refunded in full upon return of the items in good condition

For those who prefer the classic sauna, our Finnish sauna, with temperatures between 70 and 100 degrees Celsius, offers an intense heat experience. The dry heat promotes circulation, strengthens the immune system, and helps the body sweat out toxins.
Whether gentle deep heat or traditional sauna heat – both heat treatments help strengthen the immune system and allow you to experience deep relaxation after an active day in the mountains or on the ski slopes at the Home of Lässig.
The salt water fragrance steam bath & solarium
Enjoy a soothing break in our saline scented steam bath, which is considered particularly gentle on the circulation and gently pampers the respiratory tract. The finely nebulized salt water solution combined with high-quality aromatic oils creates a unique climate that nourishes the skin, moisturizes the mucous membranes, and imparts a feeling of deep relaxation. The beneficial effects of saline water have been known for centuries and can help clear the respiratory tract and enhance general well-being.
For a holistic relaxation experience, our solarium is also available. Especially in the winter months or after an active day in the fresh air, the gentle tan from the solarium can not only provide a healthy glow but also a pleasant feeling of warmth.
